The Chobe is perhaps the best known of Botswana's national parks. This is no doubt because of its large elephant herds, diverse wildlife and great beauty. The Park is composed of four distinct sections: Savuti, Linyanti, Nogatsaa and Serondella – each area totally different from the other and with its own specific charm. Serondella is situated along the banks of the Chobe River, which is the international boundary between Namibia and Botswana. The Chobe River is connected to the Okavango in the west via the Kwando and Linyanti Rivers and directly to the Zambezi River in the East. |
