Savute Safari Lodge is sheltered by
Camelthorn trees on the shore of the Savute Channel. A handful of
small pans sustain the area’s thousands of animals with a permanent,
yet fragile water source.On an open vehicle game drive, conducted by a professional guide, you have the chance of seeing numerous wildlife species. Thousands of migrating zebra visit Savute, they share the marsh with tsessebe, wildebeest, giraffe and cheetah. The woodlands fringing the marsh shelter kudu and roan antelope, while the hills conceal leopard and klipspringer.
Back at the lodge a dip in the plunge pool offers welcome respite from the midday sun. The cocktail bar may also beckon you with a cold drink on a hot Savute day, while a fireplace turns the lounge into a cosy refuge on winter nights.

Savute Safari Lodge has 12 twin-bedded luxury wood, thatch and glass safari suites, well-suited to the hot and dry conditions. The suites have spacious interiors, glass sliding doors, private viewing decks and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers.
